The Grahamston Bar Relaunch 

Brief

We were approached by the Radisson Blu Glasgow to provide an entertaining experience for guests for the launch of their Brand-new bar ‘The Grahamston’ following an extensive refurbishment. It was important that guests had fun but the Hotel hoped that guests would socially share their experience online growing brand awareness of the refurbishment and the bars new look.

Solution

We provided two new digital products to The Blue Parrot Events Group Social Mosaic and Air Graffiti to entertain guests on arrival.

Guests were welcomed by our 3x3m Air graffiti wall on arrival to the hotel. We encouraged guests to use our green screen photobooth to take images of themselves which were then transported onto our interactive graffiti wall where guests could add filters, masks, digital props and text before printing and socially sharing their creations from the wall.

On entering the main bar area, we invited guests to take images of themselves on our beauty mirror before printing them and corresponding the images to our Social mosaic boards within the hotel. The culmination of all of the images of guests at the event then created a social mosaic board which was complete with The Grahamston branding.

Result

5,000 social impressions and 200 shares of people’s creations on the Social mosaic and Graffiti wall were shared that evening all complete with The Grahamston branding alerting a wider audience of the hotel’s extensive investment.

Guests loved the interaction between the experiences and loved taking away a printed photo and receiving a digital emailed copy of the images from both the social mosaic and graffiti wall.

The hotel was also presented with the finished Mosaic board which has now took pride of place, framed within the Bar.
