Our Charity Foundation
In 2021, we proudly turned a long-term vision into a reality with the launch of the Blue Parrot Events Group Charity Foundation, a dedicated initiative focused on supporting local communities, charitable events, and fundraising projects across Scotland and the UK.
Following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to give back in a meaningful way. Our foundation was created to provide ongoing support for community-led events, while also partnering each year with a selected charity to deliver both financial contributions and hands-on event support.
Our first official charity partner was Brightest Star, an organisation we had supported for several years through the provision of event hire equipment and event production services. In 2021, we strengthened this partnership by committing a percentage of our profits, alongside organising and delivering a range of fundraising events and charity initiatives.
Brightest Star carries out incredible work supporting bereaved families, offering vital services such as grief counselling, first aid training, and practical support for families in need. More recently, the charity funded a dedicated support ambulance, helping families travel with their children to hospital during incredibly difficult times.
Arlene Smith has long been a source of inspiration to our team. Her dedication to building a charity in memory of her son, Jack, continues to motivate us every day and we are committed to using our business platform to support meaningful causes and give back to our local community.
In 2022, we proudly supported Macmillan Cancer Support as our second nominated charity, helping to raise awareness and contribute to vital cancer care services across the UK.
In 2023, we introduced an exciting new initiative: Every Charities PAL, our monthly charity donation campaign.
Through this programme, Event PAL donated £500 each month to a different charity, supporting a wide range of causes. From funding patient care and advancing medical research to boosting awareness campaigns, our mission is to make a tangible difference.
At Event PAL, fundraising is at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to champion charities that create real impact in people’s lives.
