Our Charity Foundation
How it all started…
In 2021 we made a long term ambition a reality in the creation of The Blue Parrot Events Group Charity Foundation.
Following a challenging couple of years through Covid we wanted to give thanks to the local community and create a foundation that supported local community event projects as well as supporting one nominated charity partner of the year.
Brightest star has been a charity we have been supporting for a number of years through the provision of hire equipment for their various events and we were thrilled to make them our first nominated charity partner in 2021 where we pledged to provide a percentage of our profits to the charity along with arranging various fundraising activities through 2021.
Brightest star support bereaved families through a variety of ways including providing counselling sessions and first aid training whilst the charity recently funded a support ambulance specifically for families to travel with their children to hospital.
Arlene Smith has long been an inspiration to our team and the dedication and work that she has put into the charity in memory of her son Jack inspires us as a company each and every day to do our best to use our platform in business to support those who need support in our community.
2022 saw us support Macmillan Cancer Support as our 2nd nominated charity. Macmillan charity
For 2023 we changed things up and were proud to launch our brand new monthly charity campaign- Every Charities PAL.
During the course of 2023, we donated £500 to a different charity each month through our charity foundation. Fundraising is at the heart of everything we do at Event PAL, and we are thrilled to be able to donate to a different charity at the end of each month to help them with anything from caring for patients, continuing their research or raising awareness for their cause.
