Four Themes… One Event!

WHY HAVE ONE THEME WHEN YOU CAN HAVE FOUR?!

For the Peterson Dinner, our Event Art Scotland team were challenged with building not one, but four themed bar areas!

After celebrating their centenary year in 2020 and being unable to celebrate (due to reasons we know all too well by now), it was finally their chance. With the event taking place at Aberdeen’s P&J Live venue, we had a LOT of space to have fun with.

Here is what we created…

The Trini Beachcomber Bar

To fulfil the first chosen theme, our creative Event Art Scotland team went all out and custom built this amazing Trini Beachcomber Bar- complete with custom cut and vinyl surfboards! To further bring the beach theme to life, we added classic blue and white deckchairs, picnic benches and grass-topped crate tables.  The beach bar was completed with beach themed light panels and towering palm trees.

The Stornoway Speakeasy Bar

The second themed bar we created was a Great Gatsby style Stornoway Speakeasy; an accurate theme to celebrate 100 years in business as the roaring 20’s come rolling back around!

To transform the space, our Event Art Scotland team began by covering the surrounding walls in a black star cloth drape, which immediately created an enchanting atmosphere.  We then introduced white chesterfield sofa’s, marble-effect round tables and our spectacular Manhattan and Cabaret lamps, which gave guests a glamorous yet relaxed space to enjoy a cocktail or two!

The Stornoway Speakeasy was perfectly completed by the addition of our Great Gatsby themed light panels and Great Gatsby Bar, designed and vinyl-wrapped by our creative production team.

The Stars & Stripes Bar

To bring the States to Aberdeen, our team began by covering the area in red, blue and white drapes.  We then introduced the classic American hi top diner stools and gloss red tables to match.

The Stars & Stripes bar was perfectly completed with this amazing Chevrolet armchair, which proved to be a great photo opportunity for the guests throughout the evening!

The Flying Dutchman Bar

The final themed area we created was a rustic escape completed with oak barrel tables, tractor stools and an oak bar- a popular stop for all the guests sampling the craft beers and ale!

Each and every corner of the event space was full of engaging and exciting themed experiences for guests to explore throughout the evening.  The guests also dressed in correlation with their favourite theme, which led to a crazy and amazing mix of outfits and costumes!

Our Event Art Scotland team loved creating, supplying and sourcing all of the amazing event hire and themed products.
