Nordoff & Robbins’ Bring The Music To Glasgow’s Barrowland
WHEN WE SAY WE CAN DO IT ALL… WE REALLY CAN!
Our Event Art brand is no stranger to working with our friends at the Specsavers Scottish Music Awards. Our annual visit of illuminating the room with our LED centre pieces is one we massively enjoy. This year was no exception. This time round it was our LED low level mirror disco balls that had everyone talking. Bringing a vibrant burst of colour to each table, subtle yet impactful, they really complemented the overall buzz of the night!
On the night, presenter Edith Bowman took to the stage to host this years extra special event- Specsavers Scottish Music Awards 25th anniversary! The night featured some live performances from some of the UK’s most established and emerging artists, and was a fantastic night for all.
While the event itself showcases and recognises the very best in Scottish music, the heart of the event is to raise funds for Nordoff and Robbins. A charity like no other, and the UK’s largest music therapy charity. Music therapy can help all manner of people and conditions. From autism and dementia, to brain injuries. Personally, we were touched to hear from parents whose children, with severely life limiting illnesses, were benefiting from the power of this type of therapy. Our Event Pal team were privileged to be asked to facilitate this years silent auction and had a truly remarkable evening raising a whopping total of just under £28,000!!!
It was a true honour and an absolute delight to work even closer with the team at Nordoff and Robbins on this particular element of the night.
And (as if that wasn’t enough!) our Social Jungle team also joined in the fun, bringing along our much sought after GlamCam.
Guests danced, laughed and even sang while creating their videos and making their memories. It was the perfect addition to an already fun filled evening and a very well-received product for sure. As always the team had a ball engaging, socialising and, on occasion; joining in with the guests!
Bringing all of our event brands together, and showing that team work really does make the dream work!
